There are so many ways to motivate your employees, it does not have to be you giving them money. You could also motivate them by letting them know you are aware of their hard work and you appreciate it.

This employee of the month has counter effects on the morale of the staff. Do you consider what would happen to a staff who felt that he or she deserves to be employee of the month but he or she was not chosen by the management.

Yes giving them money is one of the best or if not the most effective but there are times where money is not needed. In most cases a little bit of thank you and as well you appreciation to their efforts matters as well.

Money is one of the biggest ways that you can use to motivate anybody and I believe that whenever your workers are being committed and dedicated to working for you you should increase their salary once in a while.

I do agree with you. Giving rewards or incentives can boost their drive to work harder than before. I had this tactic when still handling salesmen before.

You are right. It is a good motivator to make an employee to work hard. It has been an old way of motivating salesmen. A reward system is always an effective way to boost the workers.

Giving recognitions is one of the best motivators for the workers to work harder than before. I also experienced this before and it boosted my drive to do better. It was a good way to inspire other co-workers.
