Seriously I've been asking questions on how bribery and corruption is going to be eliminated in our police force because it is the most corrupt institution in my country.
I think having strict rules and regulations in your business against bribery is very important. It is the best way to prevent it.
All these things you people are saying won't stop anything. Bribery and corruption is a part of the Nigeria system and we unfortunately cannot do anything about it.

Hello Mate, I disagree with this, how can you boldly write that Bribery and corruption is a part of the Nigeria system. it isn't , it is the people who are greedy that makes it so.
It is also very important and necessary to always let the employees know about the rules and regulation. That way they will be afraid to break it.
It is why hiring of workers should be done with utmost care so that you know that you don't employ such bad eggs to come and discover your business
I think there should be lifestyle checking within workplace, before and during hiring process, in that way, any scrupulous or questionable amount of wealth out of bribery can be prevented. There should also be a strict internal control within the workplace where the company might use personnel to cater on those specific task with the aid of modern technologies like cctv.
How would you explain the fact that you are going to do a simple thing like bank transaction, you have to bribe your away to enter the banking hall.
I believe as a business man you should always monitor your employees and evaluate their performances. You should always promote those who are doing well and probably demote those who are not doing well or simply give them some Grace.
Is there any way to identify people that would potentially be corrupt? There is no yardstick or variables to identify. So you just have to keep on monitoring your staff.
First thing one can prevent bribery at workplace by not involving in it at any cost or any means secondly whenever see that first it's better to try to stop it on the spot on the other hand if feel there is no way to do this then silently complain to the management.
Supervision is key to stopping things like bribery in an organization. Always seek to understand logically why a certain staff is assigned a particular job role or is made in charge of a particular unit.

You have to set up structures in your business that would reduce incidences of corruption. Decision making should be done by a panel. It would be difficult to bribe all panel members.
