Maintain a good customer service and also make sure your products/services are of top quality. Giving out freebie on purchase can also retain customers and even bring in more customers coupled with giving out discount price on some goods

I agree with you, treating customers nicely is a powerful way to retain customers. Because good and friendly service, customers will be satisfied and happy.
Also, we should sell good products that will last longer. If someone sells fake to me, I won't patronize him or her again

It's a tough task because many customers like to save money and for that they discuss it with other entrepreneurs so it's tough to retain them

Attending to customers well go a long way. It can keep them coming over and over again. They will even refer other people to your shop

Customers can be retain if the business owners can give what it takes to scout for pocket friendly goods to offer the customers, for a service provider to retain their customers they can also offer a relatively cheap package .

Retain your customers by being polite and be honest with them. I have encountered many "polite cheaters" in my life. So, be honest with your customer.

I think this is an extremely important aspect of businesses, and I think it is this aspect of business that many new business owners fail to succeed in - to retain your customers for repeat business, one must make sure the standard and quality of services and products is top notch and that this quality and standard is consistent always.

Yes exactly, this is why companies like Apple are able to retain their customers through brand loyalty and brand image due to repeat business of their top-notch products, even though they are expensive.
