To setup an Online store, you need to fulfill diffrent categories, and to understand it, you best start with Amazon, Flipkart etc. These established platforms will ask you to fill the requirements, all countries, regions have diffrent ways.

How to set up the store? Do you mean we need to sell on amazon, Flipkart etc or we can set up a different shop and someday compete with these websites? I am confused how to go about it
For a start, you can sell your items on well-known platforms like e-Bay and Amazon.
Etsy store is also good for sellers.

You can set up an online store through 3rd party platforms. You can also decide to create your own shopping website or make use or shopping platforms like Jumia, AliExpress, Ebay, etc.
It depends with the type of online store that you seek to set up but from my experience and if you are running on a low budget with zero skills then shopify is ideal for you,subscription plan starts flexible but as you want your store to have more features then you will need to upgrade.Second is the ecwid platform,i think you will love to set up your online shop or store with ecwid.Even whatsapp and facebook does give an opportunity to add a shop with a few catelogues though.Lastly if you want to hire an expert or you have the skills then you can build it your self on a woo commerce website.
