A lot of people believe that you need a lot of money to start investing, which is not true. You can actually invest with a small amount. You can start investing in the stock market as well as crypto market with just $5-$10. In order to do that you should join a trading and investment platform (for stocks and crypto), or crypto exchange platform (for crypto investment)

In the capital market or on the stock exchange, the minimum purchase of shares is 1 lot containing 100 shares. if the price per share is around $ 5 then we need $ 500 capital. But if you want to buy in mutual funds you can buy per share.
When you invest those small amounts you quoted there, you would receive very little returns. You may even get annoyed with those returns.
Everyone has different financial capabilities, when you invest in mutual funds you don't care about returns and you can apply the DCA strategy.
Cryptocurrency investment is where you have the opportunity to invest with almost any amount of money that you want as long as you know how to go about it and you will most likely make money from it but you can also lose.

The same rules apply to stock as well. If you use platforms like Robinhood, Webull, Acorns, Stash, etc. you can invest in stocks with a small amount. Interestingly, some of these platforms also allow crypto investment.
I noted that some banks in my area started offering apps which allow investors to buy stocks with a small amount of money. The apps are mainly designed for beginners. Other than working as a trading platform, the apps provide some tips and educational materials for investment.
Currently, there are many apps that offer investments in the form of shares purchased on exchanges and shares in mutual funds. If a bank application allows investors to deposit with a small amount of money then it can be ascertained as a mutual fund investment.
I think nowadays there are no investment opportunities that can allow the investments of the little amount of capital like under ten dollars. I am however on the lookout for investment opportunities like that but invain.
Ome does not actually need a lot of money to start up some businesses for real but they only need to have a very good business plan and then grace of God also to start up the business and maintain it first before they talk about becoming big in the business as one needs to maintain the small business first before we talk about going big or should I say medium then become a big one.
Aside have a lot of money to invest, I always advice anyone that is just investing in something there are new to should start small even after doing all the necessary assignment
I am not a fan of investing with small amounts. Experience has proven that it will eventually lead to disappointment. Investing is a difficult task and you need a lot of financial resources. There are days in investing that you will lose money, and if $5 is all you have invested, what are you going to do after that?
There are lots of investments out there that requires very little capital to start up. Forex trading for example, you can actually startup with even two dollars, the only major problem with forex trading is the risk involved in it.
