How you deal with mockery

Some people out of whatever reason might just want to mock you for what you are lacking. What's the best way to deal with such act?

Yes, there are people who enjoy mocking people. Should I encounter one, I simply ignore him/her. No need to let him/her to affect my emotion.

No one can do this. If they do, they can see how evil I am. My parents inculcated that no one has the right to do this.
