When I was still working in a business-related job, I never showed sympathy. Deep emotions are not possible with this kind of job. Being empathic is the best way to carry it out. For the reason that we cannot have emotional attachments with them as much as possible. Although it varies from one situation to another. As humans, we still have the feeling of sympathic to others.

We need to show sympathy when co-workers or bosses are having trouble, we try to help them, even without them asking. Not many people are moved to do this, except for those who have a high sense of empathy.
You have to display human sympathy when your colleague is sick. You can do that by covering his or her job responsibilities for him or her so that they would not be a gap.
I think you should show sympathy if your co-workers or boss are having trouble. If s(he) is sick or has to take care of some family issues urgently and cannot report to work, you may carry out some of his/her job responsibilities.
I think we can show sympathy by trying to lend a hand bof support on our colleagues with their families when they face some problems in this life. With that being said we would be showing love and unity among ourselves.
When a colleague is failing in his job responsibilities and it is threatening his or her job security, you have to show sympathy as a colleague by assisting the affected staff to ace that challenge.
The people that are going through difficult personal issues should be shown sympathy. This include staff that have lost a family member and those going through a divorce.

I respect those people who show sympathy to others. For business matter, I would still express my empathy. Sympathing will be given if they are having problems in a personal level.
Even in matters of work I still show sympathy. If I'm not at work and see other employees very busy, then I will offer to help him. He was happy that I helped, even if it was only briefly because I had to get back to my job due to a new assignment. He did the same thing to me, he helped me when I was very busy with deadlines.
That's right, being sympathetic when your fellow workers are having problems is important. it is also important to be sympathetic towards your boss whenever he or she is facing a problem.

Yes in cases like this it's not a bad idea, to show sympathy and help out. But in a situation where they are simply slacking off, then i would not agree with this.
Another set of people to be shown sympathy in the workplace are those lowly staff like gatemen, cleaners et all. They deserve sympathy because they are not usually paid well and they do the most tasking jobs in the organization.
I agree with this. Few times my older coworker ask a favor to replace him if I have free time. Alegendy ha have headache but he always 'have' headeche since he don't work anymore. He is laziest teacher in school.
