Chromium investing is not so known to people, but mind you, it can be a challenging investment. This is because chromium is not traded on public exchanges. It could be risky for owning a physical metal is not easy. Actually, this is not recommended, but there are people who cannot be controlled by their desire to invest in chromium. There are many interested investors in chromium. What they do, is negotiate with companies engage in ferrochrome production and choose to buy their shares. In my region, there was a multinational company that produced chromium Ferrochrome and my brother-in-law was the senior Chemist, but it was foreclosed. They might have no buyers abroad. Those who operate a chromium company must see to it that they won’t do an act of negligence because this is a risky investment. It requires extensive. Chromium is a tough, gray material that has a high resistance to corrosion, decomposition, and heat.

The only durable metal available is chromium despite not being known. It plays an integral component in stainless steel used in infrastructure and machinery. Chromium supports construction activity around the world. Therefore, it is a very good investment for those knowledgeable about this kind of metal.

I had to do a small research on the name to find out it is a chemical element. Like you said a lot of persons are not aware of it and its usage, so it would be hard getting people to invest in it. But before investing make sure there is a stable market for it first.

There are buyers abroad for this metal. It is very important in the business production of metals. Chromium is used to harden steel, to manufacture stainless steel (named as it won't rust), and to produce several alloys. Chromium plating can be used to give a polished mirror finish to steel. Chromium-plated car and lorry parts, such as bumpers, were once very common.( cited from Royal Society of Chemistry)
