Fake gold bar you day?. And that sound really hilarious to me like. Was it that the metal bars were paint gold or was it that the gold was fake right from the refinery. But with digital gold I don't think you can be scammed .

Digital gold doesn't really mean real gold. If at all it was meant to be 99.9% real then it should be withdrawable. Withdrawable I mean here is like converting your digital gold into solid & physical gold, I haven't heard of such instances though.

I heard and read about digital gold, yes you got youre point that no risk at all but before we buy it, make sure we buy it in right market/company. In Indonesia, the company owned by government have this option/digital gold and like you said, we can buy it from small amount of it. Its a good choice for us to start investing.
