I too would go for the investment in my own business. So that l have the control over my business.

Well, if i had such amount of money, i would split it into three parts. I would use a part to invest in my business, use the other part for investments, then save the third part.

Investing requires a lots of knowledge. So, it does not matter whether you invest in stock market or if you invest in your own business. Having said that, you can create your own business and issue dividends to general public.
