Is failure an excuse to quit a business?

Having a business is not easy. Some start there business but failed a first and some of the gave quit the business.
So should we quit just because the business is not doing well or we continue?

I am sitting on the similar situation I started general store business from 2 years before and I didn't get the desired result so finally I had decided to close it.

It's a good option too because personally I also don't like job environment as there is pressure and many other things but if you have your own job then it will be easier for you
