Is having a business partner guarantee to be successful?

In my view, it is not necessary to be successful for having a business partner. If your main goal is to start a small business, then sole proprietorship is the best option. However, if the business is not doing well, a business partnership can be the course of action and that is, to merge to save the business. It happens in the business world without any shortcomings.

It is one of the reasons. Personally speaking, I prefer not to fall into this situation. Unless if my company is failing, then I need to merge to another company and build the partnership with him or her.

I agree that it is not guaranteed thing to do. I had seen some partners who cannot fulfill their duty with the company. I, myself prefer to go with the idea of sole proprietorship.
