I totally agree with you, it's not easy to win negotiations, let alone cross-cultural or cross-country negotiations. As you said, there is a possibility of misunderstanding if we don't understand the other person's culture well.

It is not an easy task to negotiate. Sometimes,you would need to renegotiate and adjust terms.
I do believe that it is not easy to negotiate. But, it is easier for the experts to do this. I am sure we can learn the craft of doing so, so that we can able to close deals.

The reason why it is called a negotiation is because you have to consider a lot of things and the other party is also going to cost a lot of things before you both will come to a mutual ground and agreement. It's never a one way traffic talk.

I agree with you. It is also like having a two-way streets for communication between them and the businesses. Negotiating is a part of business that it cannot be brushed off the idea.

I do agree that preparedness is the best course of action to deal with different kinds of negotiation in business. Once you had everything, then you are bound to make a great transaction with a client.

Every negotiation has it's twist and turns. You cannot have a very straight forward negotiation process, except the other party has no interest in the negotiation.

I wouldn't say that is easy to win a negotiation but we wouldn't also consider it hard

Well, I think that there are many people who could be convinced quite easily and this is why negotiating things related to business might be much easier when it comes to dealing with them.

Winning a negotiation can never be straight forward, if it is straight forward, them everyone would be winning negotiation, there are some technicalities involved in it, one needs to understand some basic human psychology to be able to successfully win a negotiation.

Winning a negotiation can never be straight forward, if it is straight forward, them everyone would be winning negotiation, there are some technicalities involved in it, one needs to understand some basic human psychology to be able to successfully win a negotiation.
If I am a psychic, I might be able to read people's minds. In fact, I can do this at random. I need to polish this gift that I am having right now.

It is not easy to win at the negotiation table and if you want to win, it entails that you have the relevant experience on the topic of discussion because that is what will give you an edge to winning the discussion.

It is not effective to be straightforward in negotiating. It needs ways to capture the interest of the other party. You need to make friendship first and make some funny talks before the negotiation begins. That way relaxes the feelings of both parties.

It's not straightforward winning a negotiation ,it might be an herculean task at times, one way to try winning a negotiation is inventing options for mutual gain , let your opposition see reasons to go with your offer by explaining to them what they stand to gain from your offer and not being focused on what you stand to gain alone.

It is a negotiation because things are not satisfactory and it has to be twisted and ran around for it to become satisfactory. It is not a straight forward process. It takes a lot of shifting grounds.
