In the business world, most higher ups are the one taking all the credits when handling a team. In fact, he or she did not do anything. Basically, he or she relies on what his or her team accomplished at work.
It is not easy to lead especially when the followers are lazy. A good leader deserves to be singles out and praised. However, not only the leader but with the team
As a goof team leader, when it happens like that, you consciously deflect it and give it to your teammates members. It has a real way of motivating them.
It's called a team for a reason, meaning it's a joint effort. Yes the leader might have more praise but the team should also be recognized for their effort.
