There is nothing like victimization here. Whenever your worker does not pay you or breaches agreement you need to take industrial action.I don't think this is wrong but one has to be careful because if you take up an industrial action against your employer. you might be victimized. so do it with sense.
Even when I was a school teacher, if my due date for payment extends by two days, I am not coming to work again. It doesn't make sense to continue working a job that doesn't pay you well. There is nothing like victimization here. That is actually the right thing you did. There is no excuse for not paying your workers at all. It doesn't make sense.Even when I was a school teacher, if my due date for payment extends by two days, I am not coming to work again. Oh well if they are some workers demanding for unqualifable higher pay them they need to be put on their place . To a large extent this might be against the law.
Yeah, I think workers demand for increment in salary when some certain conditions have been met. But if the employer refuses to increase the salary, the worker can look for work elsewhere in my own opinion.Every organisation have a timeline on how they increase their workers salary and there is no way any worker can demand for the salary to be increased when those conditions are not met.
In our home country, private schools would employ you on a salary of 18k and in 4 years, they have added 2K for you to take home 20k. Is that increment at all?Yeah, I think workers demand for increment in salary when some certain conditions have been met. Some workplaces can just wake up and bring up unfavorable policies meant to surpress the staff. In that situation, industrial action is very necessary.
Well, that is an increment of over 10% which is not really bad if the salary was good. But since the salary is bad it does not make sense. In our home country, private schools would employ you on a salary of 18k and in 4 years, they have added 2K for you to take home 20k. Is that increment at all?
This is something that's very common with our Labor Congress in my country. ASSU is another body that's good with strike action. Some employers don't understand any other language apart from strike. You talk to them, no way. You write letters, no way. When you embark on strike, that is when they hear you.
