Presently in Nigeria, there are palpable anxiety over the determination of central bank to change some of high denomination naira notes. January month end was given as the deadline.
The rationale behind this as we are told was that this is necessary as there more funds in stock by the politicians which are stored for the purpose of buying votes during 2023 general elections. Hoe trust this is, no one knows.
