Is snapping pictures the greatest method to preserve a memory?

One of my grannies love to take photos and collect them in albums. I am so fascinated how she treasure and keep them. In fact, I have some of the albums. Because of this, I was influenced by her. The only difference is that I use photos in my blog site. It does capture the happy and sad moments that can be reminisce in the future.

Video or motion picture is better than pictures but pictures tends to last longer. With latest advancement in technology, you can save a video and it will last forever.

I don't think there is a better way to preserve memories than taking pictures. That's why every event prioritizes pictures almost over every other aspect

I don't believe they are the greatest method for preserving rich memories. Pictures may spark recollections, but they cannot fully encapsulate the depth of experiences. the sounds, smells, emotions, and contexts that shape how we perceive and remember events.

I agree that taking pictures can be a way to preserve memories. But a friend of mine never takes any pictures while traveling. She prefers to take the time to enjoy the sceneries and keep the memories in her mind.
