Is starting a security agency a lucrative business?

I have heard about security agencies before in the past. They usually offer various services like private bodyguards, or bouncers for parties and other events. I saw a movie some time back where the main lead runs this business and he seems to be doing well, but what about in real life? Is this business still a lucrative one ?

that's true, there would be a high demand for their services, especially if the agency is well known. Even government officials and the likes would want to hire them.

You would have to liaise with the government to get licensing to operate a security outfit. You won't just be dealing with providing private security but you would also involve in training people in the use of firearms and installation/ maintenance of security gadgets and systems. It is a highly professionalized business but also very lucrative.

It is very possible to achieve that feat. The demand for security is very high. The only thing he has to do is deliver quality and popularize his security agency. Bouncers are needed almost on a weekly basis for events.

This is a very good business because all business centers need security guards. It is the agency to receive the money from those businesses or companies and to ay the guards every 15th and 30th of the month. The salary for the guards is too small because the agency gets the bigger percentage.

You have a point though but i think they would have to spend to some extent, cause since its a security agency, the staffs have to be fit, so it would make more sense if the company has a gym that can be use to train the staffs.
