Nowadays many people are using YouTube as an income source but it can not make money for you in one night, you need to reach 1000 subscribers and 4000 hours watch time before monetizing.
Are you earning from YouTube? Is it a good business?

It is a good business but it is difficult to earn money from it since you need so many subscribers. I tried it last year but I gave it up because I found it impossible to monetize it.

YouTube has changed many things recently. And with the new rules and regulations in place, it has become even tougher to make money there. YouTube has started loosing it's users recently. Many are moving to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Well, it seems that Twitter is preferred by many.

I would say do what i see people doing. Most people pay to have followers and viewers.i have seen on. Alot of ptp sites people paying to have people veiw the content and that,even if it's temporary, get you money. So you spend to gain.

The truth is that, as a beginner, I did not decide about the content of my channel. I just created a few videos to promote some affiliate products but without success.

If you really want to be a YouTuber then don't go directly on promoting affiliate links because at the beginning you need to build audience who trust you and your content after that you can promote affiliate links, products and services.

Having YouTube channel is not a business but a source of income because it is not necessary that we invest our money in it and it can be hard to earn money from it.

I tried it few years ago, but still I'am not monetized. I think it depends on content you are making. If you hit the right content I think it will give you make a good earning.

The criteria for earning turned very hard, previously we used to upload only one video and send it for google ads and after sometime got the approval now there must be 1000 subscriber and 4000 watch minute.

YouTube can be profitable but needs a lot of hard work and dedication. Now, it is no easy to break through the matrix of YouTube because there are thousands or millions of videos competing for attention. If you want to make money with YouTube, you have to be highly creative.

That depends on what you do on your YouTube channel. A lot of Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) or influencer has their own YouTube channel. They comment on current affairs and political issues daily, except weekends. The popular ones get more than 20K subscribers. Their daily video talk has more than 100K viewers. I can see that they are making good money.

If those numbers that I saw up there are true, then it is very tasking to earn in YOUTUBE. And for someone like me that cannot convince someone to like or follow me, it would be decades before I can earn there.
