There's no divorce law in the Philippines despite many citizens urged the Senate to approve divorce. I am for divorce. I see how my relatives cried in despair because of husband brutality and betrayal. But the Catholic Church always opposed to the idea of implementing divorce in the Philippines.

What my be the reason for not having a divorce law in your country? Having no law won't prevent breaking of marriages.
