I'm considering starting a yam farm and was wondering if anyone has experience with this type of farming? Specifically, I'm interested in hearing about the profitability of yam farming. Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yam farming is very profitable. But the major problem of farming yam is that it is not mechanical especially in Nigeria. You have to plant the seedlings by yourself and constantly keep working on the farm till the yam become matured and ready for harvest

I never knew about this. So there is no way one can mechanize the planting of yams. That would require a huge expense on labour to finish planting.
