Linux or windows for business?

I heard recently that Germany now make use of the linux system instead of windows, they believe linux is cheaper to use. Even banks in my location mostly use linux as it is believed it is more suitable and safer than windows in terms of securing and managing money. Would you also use linux for your business?

This is my first time hearing about this thing and I am not sure if Linux is secure and of course you cannot compare a banking software with a normal business

Linux is actually the most secure operating system because it was created as free source software developed by a community of hackers from all over the internet.
