Not getting work online because of defamatory videos circulated

I have not heard of any such issue. However, I knew some popular people who was cancelled (by wokes) because of old videos or old social media posts which resurfaced online by someone (detractors).

In some countries, circulating defamatory videos of hardworking online workers is a very lucrative racket, since powerful people want them to work cheaply and so that those who defame make huge profits.

I am not sure if things like these could actually happen. IN the virtual world no one cares about who you are, clients only care what you can do and how much you chare for your work.

I think this has happened to a lot of celebrities in my country but they were able to come back stronger

I wonder why someone would be doing this evil act to the next person. it is so demonic to me.

I do not have any one around me in this condition nor i have had the opportunity of meeting anyone like this. I believe the best thing to do would be to take legal actions.
