Overwork without Extra Pay

Some Chinese companies in China do not pay extra for their workers who took overtime. It seems that the labor code needs to be rectified there.

That might be the policy of the company no overtime pay. If it is not,then that is called employe abuse.

Why would someone work overtime if there is no adequate compensation plan. I would just feign weakens and leave

I have experienced this several times while I was working under someone else. These where some of the reasons that made me quit.

Unfortunately not paying extra hours is something often in Croatia. Employer don't have digital system which counts work hours so you just get regular salary without paying extra hours. Of course when you talk with them on first day they say everything will be paid.

When you understand that time is money, you would politely tell your superior that you arr not putting in extra hours without commensurate extra pay.

Working overtime without an extra pay is nothing but exploitation. I would stand up against it in it's entirety.

Here the workers are paid for over time they do whereas the supervisors, managers are not paid any compensation for working extra hours.

Any overwork that is done without pay, it is certain that those work activities would not achieve any efficiency.
