If you're owning a big company you need a business partner however that chosen business partner must have an attitude like yours patience hardworking, sympathetic, understanding and no toxic attitude towards employees and foremost to the business partners. If you sense that your business partners keep on reacting on your plans and proposals instead of having a thorough reading , evaluating, instead keep on complaining and comparing at theirs then it's better to cancel that partnership and hire only a business advisor.

Any business partnership that is built or based on competition can never stand or succeed cause instead of working together to achieve good results, they would be fighting against each other trying to achieve their goals separately.

You are so right, you might not know that your business partner is temperamental, and not easy to deal with his toxic ways of dealing with you as a business partner. He might be arrogant and conceited so watch out for choosing a business partner.

You are so right in that, the two words mean differently and it must not be argued because a partnership is a partnership with something written in the contract whereas competition, refers to the other party, the competitors of the business that the business owners must focus on to protect their business.
