Views you receive on your short videos will not count for the eligibility for youtube partner program.I have been working on my YouTube channel for quite some time now but I would like to work on it a lot more to be able to reach YouTube partner and hopefully make a more passive income from YouTube. I know now that you are now able to become a partner from YouTube Shorts, you need 1000 subscribers and 10,000,000 views on YouTube shorts that are eligible to be able to apply which is awesome for those who like to make short-form content.
I am not earning with YouTube yet but if I start a YouTube channel then I will teach what I know on YouTube.I think by far it's the best way to earn passive income online as your content will make money for you even if you stop posting any more content after some time.
Are you earning passive income from Youtube?
They now changed that in the last month. Now when you go into the YouTube Studio and click earn they now have the option to be able to reach YouTube Partner through shorts as well. It is a new addition over the last month but one that was planned since last year and they just released it.Views you receive on your short videos will not count for the eligibility for youtube partner program.
You are on the right track, it took me about 3 months to reach the minimum threshold to be able to activate the adsense partnership, with patience you will get there, I never really used the shorts but it is also a good way to reach the minimum thresholdThey now changed that in the last month. I feel at the moment for myself it's staying consistent. I am still getting myself into a routine with work and also creating and uploading content. Once I get into a better routine I am hoping that things will start moving in the right direction. I think it's great that shorts are now viable for the partnership program as it opens up more doors for more people to be able to earn a passive income which at the moment, is very much needed. You are on the right track, it took me about 3 months to reach the minimum threshold to be able to activate the adsense partnership, with patience you will get there, I never really used the shorts but it is also a good way to reach the minimum threshold
Thanks for the update. I did not know that. I will have to see if this update is worldwide or available in the selected regions. Do you also earn from ads on your shorts or earn just from the creator's funds? They now changed that in the last month. In addition to this, it seems that shorts are promoted more on YouTube than long videos, something similar to Tiktok may be happening where short content has more visibility, I don't know why, but it's a good point after allI feel at the moment for myself it's staying consistent. You earn from both I believe with your shorts but it will also monetize any long-form videos you have as well even if you reached a partnership using shorts. Thanks for the update. It definitely seems like either YouTube push out shorts more than long-form videos or it is just that shorts are quite popular on YouTube with them having a similar set up on their website and mobile app for shorts where you scroll and get new videos. I have definitely seen more success with my short videos than my long-form videos. In addition to this, it seems that shorts are promoted more on YouTube than long videos, something similar to Tiktok may be happening where short content has more visibility, I don't know why, but it's a good point after all
Let's be realistic. You cannot earn from youtube passively. The moment you stop being active (stop publishing videos), you will stop earning. You will have to regularly publish videos, do SEO and digital marketing. The YouTube is a great platform for anyone who wants to make money passively online because you could make passive income on YouTube by uploading quality videos that are helpful.
