Pedal boats

Summer is coming and with it probably a trip to the sea, if we can afford it. We have fun at sea by swimming, diving or pedal boats. Pedal boats are plastic vessels without engines that are powered by people. Handling is similar to bicycles.
Pedal boats can be rented everywhere and children love them. This is how they get their first driving experience and they are not far from the coast.
There are larger and smaller pedal boats, two-seaters or even for eight people. The more people, the more people have to operate the pedal.
Pedals should not be used in bad weather and big waves because they can easily capsize.
Have you ridden a pedal boat?

That is an exciting pedal boat. I have not seen it here in my place. I dive in deep sea.

Pedal boat is about 10$ per hour. I think bigger ones can be even more expensive. I guess price is not to big since I see many customers on sea play with it.

Those who want stay in shape, have excercise and still have fun can use this type of pedal. It simulate walking or runing, depends how fast you can move legs. You can have competition.

I am a deep sea swimmer no need of that.

I am fan of pedal boats. Not just since I don't know how to swimm, than I like it as fun. I had great times with my nephews on it. We made few circles back around beach.

Waves are not good for pedal boats. Pedal boats are easy and most mass come from people on it. If those are heavier, it would be harder move it. Since they are not heavy, waves can turn it over.

That will not be good if there are waves. Those thin riders will be blown lol.

For me the pedal boat seems very scary. I wouldn't ride it at all. I am very afraid of the sea though I am living on the coast of the Indian Ocean.

I'm a deep sea swimmer but haven't experienced riding on a pedal. There would be lots of excitement.
