Promotion - Online or Offline?

Do you do the majority of promoting your forum online or do you do most of it offline (word of mouth e.t.c)?

Most of the time, I do mine online, via other forums, advertising networks, exchanges and occasionally on facebook.

Online is more preferable because it is easy to reach thousands with a few clicks. Secondly, it is more preferable because you can target your ad to reach some segment of the population.

When you talk to people I have a forum they just say nowadays there is Facebook so no need to discuss on forums as what they are saying demeliorative words all the times and not even waste 1 minute to check out content before judge.

I use the online promotion method. I have never tried word of promotion method personally, and my experience with advertising on newspapers is limited and I have never used tv and radio marketing.

Every business needs online advertisement because we are in that civilization era and most things are gotten online so it is good to advertise your business online

You are right
It will not even be nice to bring something that belongs to the online world to offline world. It may not work or be effective. It has to remain online.

I think it depends on how well you can do it. There are some people doing it one and it favors them so it all tells on how good or how expert you are in the promotion business

The truth is that online promotion is better and a lot of people will be aware about anything you are promoting unlike offline location. I don't even like anything offline anymore.

I think you need to make some payments to Facebook if you want your advertisement to be extra. That will be able to reach so many people and it will be within a short time.
