We do celebrate Christmas though I'm not a Christian but all we do is hang a sock outside and then my parents would just put some gift inside it.

Whether it is Christmas or any other festival, shopping six months in advance is not at all necessary.

I was on another forum and their users shared that they start Christmas shopping 5-6 months before and this is how they plan things, buy Gifts, decorate, Christmas trees, etc, and even plan meals.

A very common thing that happens around here is that products becomes very expensive during the Christmas season which is why so many families try to shop earlier before the season of Christmas so that they will buy the products they need cheaper.

No I do my shopping few. days to it

I don't think anyone shops for holidays 6 months in advance. However, it is more common to shop at least one month in advance.
