What's your take on staffs of the same company going into a relationship? Recently I heard a story of a man and woman who both lost their jobs, simply because the manager found out they where dating. Do you think staffs going into a relationship might have a negative effect on the company, or are you okay with this idea and would you allow it in your company!

There is no problem here having employees in a relationship as long as they won't show their affection in public. They just do their work and treat each other as co-workers and not as lovers.

Management hire employee for their work. And they set certain rules for all of them. If they ignore few people then it could become practice and others will also do it. So if they taken serious action then it becomes a sort of strict reaction for others too.

l think most of the organisations in my country don't allow that one to happen. For instance the previous company that l was working for allowed one of the couple's to resign off the job.

If the romance is kept outside the workplace, I am find with workplace romance. I do not see any harm in two staff going into a relationship. However, this should not harm their efficiency.

It happens in my country. Some companies need to impose this simple rule during the orientation. It is up to the applicants if they are going to sign the contract or not.

Why most bosses don't encourage relationships between staff is due to the fact that it can easily create disgruntled staff together. That's because injury to one lover is surely injury to the other lover.

Majority of the companies should not have any kind of problem with relationship between staff members because this i there personal choice. The boss should be concerned about the result and performance of the employees, not about relationship between employees.

I don't think that the boss should have any problem with what kind of relationship employees form. This is a personal matter between employees. Always remember that employees can also form any kind of relationship outside the workplace, so an employer can do nothing about it.

Don't just bring your heartbreak reaction to my place of work because I didn't send you to have a romantic affair with your colleague.

I don't think that relationship between two employees should cause any problem in the workplace. Personal matters should not cause a huge problem in the workplace. If problem arises, then both the employees should sort it out.
There are times that these relationships turn into scandals. That is because it can split and lead to a workplace row between the two.

I am sure that not all the people would consider this. Employees might form relationship anywhere wherever they want and in many cases employees may have no control over it. This is something we should know.

Imagine you see your partner at work. No, no, it is better to just find a partner outside of work because usually these types of relationships don't last long.
