Relaxing this Good Friday

It's a Good Friday and for those Catholics and other religions who believe in Christ, it is this day that He was crucified. This Holy Week, I supposed to fast for 3 days but I failed my promise, so forgive me, Lord. I cannot bear the hunger. But I eat little only. I and my family never eat meat starting Ash Wednesday. We are going to eat meat on Sunday when God is risen. Amen to this.

It's a holiday here on account of Good Friday. So, husband and niece are at home too.its already summer vacation for me and my younger daughter.

We get two months of summer vacation. That's the longest break here. Maybe because summers are long in our part of the globe. Few classes that have crucial years get a shorter vacation.

Ours here only one month because of long preparations. But it's better than no summer vacation at all.

Oh! I see. Here, in our schools, we have around 185_190 working days. Rest of the days are vacation, breaks and holidays. I guess that's good as one needs those breaks to rejuvenate from the academic rigour.

That's nice to know. Physics and Maths used to be my favourite subjects. I enjoyed Maths a lot till High school. But if I see back, my Calculus was just okay. It was not my strength like other topics like Geometry, Arithmetic and Trigonometry.
