What do you think of this side hustle where one would rent self out as a friend to those that need company and have no friend to do that with. Would you try this out if you have to opportunity and you are paid per hour.

I like the idea to make money through this. I heard about it a few months ago that it's presently being done in China and Japan. I don't know in a populous country like India someone would pay for a company of a person.

Yeah I'm still wondering too if such do exist in my country. I wouldn't might such a task provided the other party would be a friendly and nice person.

It can cause a problem if the people who hire are not friendly or good. It will be a blunder in that case. One should investigate before accepting such offers. It's better not to earn than to repent afterwards.

That is the work hazard that I see that might be associated with this job. Supposing you get paired with a violent person so one need to investigate more before agreeing to it.

That's true sometimes people are clever and they trap you, therefore you should not trust anyone blindly, one should investigate first to check if the person is genuine or not. I have read about many bad experiences of people regarding this.

Yes, that's the duty of the site to verify and investigate a member first and then allow them to hire a person. It's not easy to go and spend time with a stranger especially when they both are of the opposite gender

You are right I think there should also be the rule that the friendship be done in an open space so that every one feel safe as well.

I don't if someone would agree. It depends if someone wants to meet at home then the pay rates should be high as there is more risk involved in it. Such sites are not popular in India.

Is this available in your country? I think there will be a legal issue also in our country as such sites are not considered good in our country and may result in crime as who knows who is the person with whom a person is going to meet and spend time.

I don't think so but it isn't against the law here. As it isn't a crime to be on a date with a total stranger so one can still take the offer with no problems

It may not be against the law but will certainly increase crime. That is better because one will have the full identity of the person on the site but still fake IDs can be made easily by people.
