It is very common for businesses to outsource. It can be considered a cost-effective way for the jobs to be done. Outsourcing can not only cut your costs as opposed to allowing your staff to do it. You can also get the best guy to do the job if you outsource. However, there are also risks. What do you think are the common risks associated with outsourcing certain business tasks, and how can they be mitigated?

The only risk that I can see with this particular situation is it can lead to security reason. At some point, it can leak some essential information and can jeopardize the company's assets and investments. There are other things that we need to consider in terms of outsourcing.
When you outsource a particular role in your organization, you give up direct control on how the process would be pursued. And most times, it can be in a manner that might not sit well with you but you can't say anything as far as the results are being gotten
One of the disadvantages that I know which is associated with outsourcing is that you might end up getting someone who is not going to do a good job for you and the person will just disappear all of a sudden after a while when the job he did ends up being a bad one.
Outsourcing can be an effective way to cut costs. However, you have to ensure that your outsourcing partner is reliable and trustworthy, and that they are able to do the work up to your standards.
This might be another issue. I do not know about other places, but over here it is becoming really hard to actually find someone who you can trust when it comes to rendering quality services.
As much as this would be an ideal method to use for businesses, the one risk that could come from it would be a security risk. You would be giving someone you may not know very well at all access to areas that could lead to a security risk.
In some cases most would say to get to know someone first before you allow that much access but sometimes, you do not have the time for that and you hire as soon as possible.
