Running an orphanage home

This might not be a business but money is needed to run an orphanage home. I have this in mind maybe someday I will start out. How can I go about getting sponsors to assist in this vision?

I am sure it would not be a good business in my country. For the reason that our culture is to take good care of our elders until they die.

That's people for you they are always looking for this to garner money for themselves which is very wrong. I think the government would have to look at this different home.

Yeah this is a venture that should depend more on passion. With passion we would be able to look beyond our selfish desires and totally become very selfless which is needed

I have heard of stories if people that were supposed to man these facilities diverting the donations for their own personal use. I always wonder how cruel man could be to mankind.

The first step to run an orphanage is that you must obtain licence from government. This is the basic and a must. The second step is to have a building with playing grounds. The building will have necessary utilities like water, electricity, toiletries etc.

That is a very good vision. You need passion to run an orphanage home. Most orphanage homes in my location are government run. Some are supported by charity funds donated by rich people. If you want to open an orphanage home, you need to get the support of some charity funds and organize donation campaigns from time to time.

Basically it is not business in my country people do this to serve the needy people, people those who are required shelter and we can we can utilize them in a good way that's why this type of orphanage homes are established.

I agree. At some point, they need to tap different non-government organizations to provide some financial assitance. But then, if they do this, it will not go along to be a good business anymore.

I am sure that it is feasible to run an orphanage in the community, especially if it was created as a non-government organization. In this manner, they do not need to pay taxes.

Definitely you have a reason for wanting to start up a business like this. I think what you should do is find does who have the same mindset as you and work with them.

It is not easy to run an orphanage home. It requires millions. You need to have a very good place, and services. You also need to equip your orphanage with complete facilities as per requirement by the health and sanitary departments per country.
