It is a perfect idea of saving money and I even do it at times. There are a lot of times that I will not have cash at hand so that I won't spend it

This is about making conscious efforts. Nothing good come easy you would be doing for your savings.

To avoid spending money daily, buy your needs once a month and try buy all means to avoid your wants for that month. Next month but your needs and buy yourself a little treat to make up for not buying the previous month then start the whole.process all over again. You will find that you spend less and save more

I plan having my own garden so that I will not be spending a lot of money buying some food stuffs. I think that is also one of the best ways of saving money.
