Save money on food by eating at a friend place

What do you think about this style of saving money. you can stop at a friend place to take either lunch or dinner and saving the money for them. What your thoughts?

Hehe, sorry but I do not eat at others' homes. It is none-ethical. I eat at home and at a fast food chain. Maybe there are people who are doing this.

Eating at a friend's place help one to save money. But that increases the expense of his/her friend. I normally eat at home. When I eat out with friends, we split the bill.

You can't try this in these times. People don't offer visitors food any longer. It is common wisdom. They have to eat and they can't use their food and feed someone else.

Hmmm while you are saving by eating at your friend's place, you are simply making your friend spend more which would not be fair. The best thing to do is simply manage.

Honestly speaking I can't consider this as a money saving tip. In all circumstances you must be responsible with the provisions of the basic needs for your family and you. For instance when you eat at a friend's house, where your family will they eat from?

With wrong intention we will not able to continue it because our friend is not also such a fool that he will not realize our intention that we are at his home due to save our money and put the burden on him so it will be possible that we will lose our friendship soon.

According to me as a person you should learn how to organise on yourself. It's even advisable by the financial advisors that you must set aside some money to cater for your basic needs and save on the rest (atleast 10% ) of your income.

This strategy used to work in the past but it would not fly today. That's because everyone is feeling the inflation and most people would not offer you food on your visit.

Yes, you can do that! However, it is not something I do frequently. I live in the province, and most of my friends work overseas. To save money, I eat at home.

What a shame eating in other's house. It's never my orientation. It's not a usual happening here in my place.

Unless you have a friend that is very rich, trying to eat from your friend's place now is not really possible.
