One of the interesting monetization methods is to sell merch. If you have organic traffic on your website, you can easily start selling merch. I sell merch through a couple of websites and I made money through this method. I do it by adding woocommerce on my website and by integrating Printful for creating merch. Have you used this method? As someone who owns websites and is also a video game content creator, I have merch for the video game content creation side of things that has my brand on it but I as of yet do not have any merch for my forum.
We are looking into sorting out merchandise for both forums I own but we are still working on designs at the moment that will work best.

I have also not tried it but I think this kind of sales is always effective because I have seen so many people who are doing this and they never stopped doing it which means that they are getting something from it since they do not stop it
