Does anyone have experience with selling old stuff that has just been laying around in your house which is of no use - did it get you some decent amount of extra cash, that could be used to pay for new stuff? Please do share!

I have known about selling old stuff online but I'm yet to do this but I will like to do this as a hobby since it is good as a side hustle.Does anyone have experience with selling old stuff that has just been laying around in your house which is of no use - did it get you some decent amount of extra cash, that could be used to pay for new stuff? I do not get to do this all the time but it is a nice idea to have a little money so that you can use it to buy new things that you want in the houseDoes anyone have experience with selling old stuff that has just been laying around in your house which is of no use - did it get you some decent amount of extra cash, that could be used to pay for new stuff? There are times that I do this for my electronics so that I will use the money to buy something elseYes this is a great way to make money, in a way its kind of like recycling. Instead of throwing these old stuff away, you can find a buyer and sell them to earn extra cash.
@funkie ,yes, I sold my not overused clothes through a garage selling. I did it beside our gate but I advertised it first thru Facebook and thru a transistor radio selling program. Success!!!
There was even a time I had to buy second hand book because I did not have money to buy the new oneOur community center organized a garage sales twice a year for people to buy and sell second hand items. I've sold books, appliances, and furniture. Other than making some money, it is a good way to reduce wastage.
