In India we have a festival called Holi in which we splash water, dry colours and water balloons on one another and most use these water guns in this festival and even outside this festivals kids love these Water Guns making it a good business.

I think kids here don't play with water guns anymore. They prefer Lego.
My observations are it's not a very popular business and it May not help anyone survive because these products are not in demand for whole year.
That is right, especially during the pandemic when parents prioritized buying consumption over toys. Their kids must play with their old toys. But during Christmas and special occasions, toys like toy guns are sold cheaper so parents may opt to buy them to make their kids happy.
You are right, as people are using it on some special days then it can be profitable.
We have also a water splashing event here in my country every June 24, but they don't use water guns they instead use water dipper and practically making everyone wet.
There are people who still buy water guns fot their children though, but these days most parents feel this might make their kids act rough, so they rather go for tablets for kids that they can use to learn and play games as well.
If you take toy gun as a sole business, it will be diastrous except during festive periods. Toy guns can be sold by shops that are selling children apparels and toys. To start selling toy gun as sole business is a wrong move

The sell of water guns is more during the festival of Holi in India. Market is flooded with them during that period. So, it is profitable during that time.

I my country, this business won't cut it as even kids don't even like these stuffs as toys any longer. You can just add it to a kiddies shop.
Sir, I challenge you on this that this business is not profitable. Times has changed and kids don't play those kind of games again. There are kids pcs that children use to play now.
You're not going to be selling water guns alone. You must ad d other children toys to make it profitable.
The last time I saw this kind of thing should be about 10 years ago. The general kids toys business is profitable. So you can say it might be lucrative.
