These days most people like to have a pet at home be its Dog or Cat or parrot or any other and there are many times when they need to go outside the city or state or country for some work so they need someone to take care of their pet and are ready to pay any amount for that and this makes it a very good and popular business.

In the US, there are businesses for this. They have daycare where they can book their furrbabies for days while they are away for trip or business. I am not sure if there are businesses like these in my country.
Yes, it's a burden sort of thing when you have a pet and you go out for some days and you can't take your pet along with you. As @AmazingJob told me in the US they have a business for it but I don't see it here in India. I don't have a pet so I never had this situation.
I see establishments for pet grooming but not day care. In the US, they can book their pets for certain days.
This is because in the US most people own pets so these businesses are in demand but here most people dont have pets so such businesses won't make profits. Do you have such a business in your place?

US have everything for pets and for humans but we are still lacking and that's why these companies can come to our parts and provide these services and slowly we can expect these things working in our parts.
But such companies won't survive for long because they won't get enough business here. I dont think like to keep a pet here. When half of the population of our country in under the poverty line then they cannot keep a per only to increase their expenditure.

In big cities they will survive because even though we have a large chunk of poor population, there is a large percentage of rich people too in cities like Mumbai, Bangalore etc
This type of business will only be profitable if you reside in top tier countries where pets are taken very seriously.
Pet sitting should be a viable and profitable business. A lot of people own pets and when they are out of town, they need pet sitting service. They are many shops providing such service in Hong Kong.
There are people that are liking to own a pet. Mostly.cats and dogs. But not enough to be considered a booming business here since like what you said we also have less people who don't own pets.

@AmazingJob people don't own pets here because the monthly salary of the people is low and they don't want to spend it on a pet, also people don't like to spend time on pets as it requires lots of time to take care of the pets.
