Short links. Does RIF allow members to insert shortlinks in their content?

Sorry for a delayed response. For clarification The Forum Guidelines mentions that you cannot advertise outside of the designated areas; meaning, you cannot insert anything into regular posts, that would lead you to earn from what you are linking to, or to blatantly advertise something of yours or someone else's content.

To clarify, you can link to stuff to help give information on a particular discussion, if what you are linking to is for informational purposes. Though you cannot link to it, for the soul purpose of gain, if the object is to earn and not to inform. Any thing that is geared towards earning from what people click on, needs to be only placed in allowed areas only.

Thanks for your information, so basically a shortlink is a link to make money, so it's not allowed, so if I find a shortlink in the content, I can report it.
