I think a pure business approach to running a would erode the social nature of such an institution. I advocate for balance in the approach to use in a hospital.

Hospital is still a business venture since it's major aim is to make profits. It is only hospitals that are run on charities we can called they are not business entities.

Hospital is more of business than a help to humanity. Even in government owned hospital in Nigeria , if you don't have money they will not treat you. Hospital is one of the most profitable business ever.

I think that a hospital should not be viewed as a business. It should be viewed as a place where humanity is taken care of.
But its an excellent business, though. People nowdays have their own health insurance, so having a hospital as business is profitable of course. Yes, i agree with "humanity part"

I think so, especially if they are private ones. I used to work in a private hospital before. I had seen how doctors generate money by making their services in business.

I couldn't agree more with your statement. Hospitals are not just profit-making organizations but they are also integral parts of the communities they serve. Striving for balance between business and social objectives will help hospitals deliver the best care to patients while also remaining financially sustainable.

Hospital should not be taken as a business, there are so many complains about hospitals those are running it as a business, because if a person will think that he is doing business then he may charge more from unaffordable patients.

A hospital has units. The have the administrative units that is involved with the business side of the hospital. So, people working there see it as a business but operational staff see it as Social work.

The hospitals should be approached as a business because it is meant to make profit except if it is a government Hospital.
Like a typical business, they are not supposed to start treating a patient till they see money. Like a grocery shop won't let you take a sachet of biscuit without your money at hand. That way, people would die in quantums in such hospital.

According to me the hospital should be approached as a business just like the other businesses. It's a very profitable business for sure as people tend to fall sick too often.

But there's no two ways about this Hospital is still a business venture because the workers must be paid and it's major aim is to make profits as well so we must pay

I don't agree that a hospital should be classed as a business at all. As much as hospitals rely on taking in ill patients and treating them before they get any kind of payout, in countries like the UK where I live, healthcare is free for most unless they choose to go for private healthcare, and at the moment the NHS is struggling due to funds. A business you would think would be making a profit but here, hospitals struggle unless the hospital is private and patients pay for their care or unless the government gives them the funding they need.
