There is a Star Trek episode where the leaders of countries had to fight the battles/wars. Do you think that leaders should be forced to partake in those things, especially since they're the ones wanting war in the first place?

I doubt it will ever end because people are always inclined to start wars, which means they will never cease.
It's an interesting idea. Maybe politicians would be less keen on jumping into wars if they actually had to participate. I would say no though. How often would we see leadership pass away? I think that would just create turmoil.
You are right. At some point, personal agendas are keeps on coming from them and it is frustrating sometimes.
