Ever since our government in Nigeria failed in its responsibility to provide steady supply of electricity, many houses have resolved to supplement the epileptic supply of public electricity. Many people are using fuelled power generators and gas supply to do this. Despite all these efforts, the issue of power supply had not solved. High cost of fuel and gas made it disgusting to rely on these alternative power generation. This problem persist until few years ago when relief in form of solar power products came out. Many houses now depend on solar powered bulbs to light their houses. There are other solar powered products which do not need electricity to operate. Things like fan, television, fridge, radio, torch light, clippers etc. As this is going on, a time is coming when people won't need public electricity any more.

One thing that I cannot understand with the nation of Nigeria is that; being one of the higher oil producing country in the West Africa, it still languishing in poverty, it's citizens are really suffering from high cost of living, they widely use solar products.
Where I love, most people now rely on solar powered product since power isn't steady
Solar products are getting popular everywhere accross the world. It is a viable alternative to hydro and gas generated power and has led to the development of DC electronics.
In the next 10 years, the whole world would be majorly be powered through solar. It would continue to be lucrative for some time coming.
