Sticking to a budget

it is always good to have a budget and stick to it. it will help keep one away from overspending. it is always pretty difficult for me. How can you easily stick to a budget?

I do listing to avoid overspending. I am an extravagant person, but I disciplined myself. I tried hard not to be tempted to buy something not necessary. I keep on shopping for new bags, new clothes, new watches, and shoes. I realized they are not essential, so I stopped my extravagance.

it isn't at all one needs to discipline self to be able to live above always wanting to spend money.

Exactly, it is really appalling when people do this and I wonder why. Living in permanent brokenness isn't cute.

@cherry123 ,many lack discipline, that are thinking that they are still young and they still have much time to enjoy without knowing that as humans age, health and financial means decline too .It might be too late for them to start anew. Life is mysterious by the way.

I'm not one of those that like to create budget and stick with it but I always try to control my spendings and like to shop when the products are available at lower price.
