There are different ways to build revenue on your website. How do you develop and implement strategies for building revenue on your website? Do you give preference to ads based monetization (Adsense, amazon, etc.) or e-commerce integration? Do you prefer to offer premium content for building revenue or do you like to build a membership platform to build revenue? As far as I am concerned, ecommerce integration and ads are my favorite method.

With so may different ways you can build revenue on your website it all depends on what would work for your site at the time.
I myself on my forums like to offer not only user upgrades but also Google Ads as well. If someone purchases a user upgrade, they no longer see ads on the forum which I feel is a great incentive to help with revenue.
I have a blog that I am trying to get approved with Google Ads but in the mean time, I tend to use affiliate links where appropriate to help with revenue on my blog.
