There is this textile art here in my country called adire(tie and dye) it's a locally made material. Do you think it will be a good business to venture in on an international scale?

Yeah, exactly my thought and I'm trying to aim for international market that is if I've gotten enough revenue.

There are many unique design. Although I personally don't know how to make them, I can always Learn that later but for now I'm thinking of buying it from the local experts here more like a reselling business.

Yeah exactly just staty off and you can take it from there even internationally. it is always good to try and not win than not to try st all.

I get that, its better to try and fail than not trying at all, the bulk work of this type of business is to get the best of best designs at a relatively cheap price and Also getting more customers out there. It worth trying though.

You can partner an artist in your location. Try to Google search artists in your place and have 50/50 sharing minus your capital investment.

That's a brilliant idea although I love going in solo but having a partner will also make the business more smooth especially a partner that will greatly contribute to the business. But to be fair we should both divide the start up capital?

I am not sure if it is viable to sell them internationally. Many people can do this at their homes now. In fact, one of my nieces had this project last year. She was in grade 5 at that time.

It is a very viable business in Nigeria and people are really making huge amount of money from it.

I think it is too cultural to try and sell them at the international stage. It is a viable business in our Nigerian society and Africa. Maybe the parts of the world close to Jamaica might buy things like this.

This is a very lucrative business in my country because I know a lot of importers that are into this line of business and they have a lot of warehouses where they supply so many people their products.

Yes this is a good business to go into, there are lots of persons who are already into it and are making money from it. If you are good at it then you are good to go.
