The internet has been a major source of information so far, with the help of the internet, news has been able to spread faster, most business owners have used this as an advantage to reach out to potential customers. While there are legit news on the internet, there are still fake news being spread like wild fire. Do you think the internet has become a tool to spread lies or legit information?

It can be both for that matters. We cannot isolate the case for not having accurate information and otherwise. We just need to be more vigilant because it is infested with so many false information, fake news, and the like.
I think it can be both. When I come across any news or information on the net, I always check the source of the information. I sometimes go to fact-check sites to verify the information.

I would say it depends on which site you are on. The internet is both good and bad. Some sites share news to get followers and most of the time the news is fake. So I would say make sure you verify that the site you are getting your news from is a legit site before you believe what u you read
It all depends on how you use the internet. If you always depend on it, then it's like you're deceiving yourself.
Since beginning of civilization, there is no time humanity have been able to access information freely like before. Though internet equally spread fake news but that doe not make internet to fail to deliver top notched information for free.
I believe that the internet has become a powerful tool for spreading both legitimate and false information, it's up to us as users to be critical and verify the information we consume.
It depends on how people use it, some people use it as a source of income, knowledge and genuine news while others use it to spread fake news and waste their times.
