The right number of hours businesses should work per day

How many hours should a business work per day? I remember back then while I was still working as a photo editor, we normally open as early as 7am and in most cases I resume by 6am just to sort out pending jobs. While we close around 8pm then on certain days 10pm. We don't normally have breaks, the only breaks we got was when there are no customers to attend to. While others in the same field as where I worked usually open around 9am and close 5pm or 6pm

I do not think there is no such thing as the right number of working hours for businesses. The operating hours depend on the nature of the business. If you are operating a gas station, you will have to be open 24 X 7.

A good business starts early at least 7am. and you can close when you are no longer making sales

For me, my business opens by 7am. And I close by 6pm to go and rest for the next day. For peak periods though, I run my business almost all through the day.

Normally, most virtual ESL teachers need to work eight hours per day. It depends if the company's platform is a booking system. In this case, they can manage how many hours they can work every day. Unlike those same field companies who impose fixed working hours.

There is no specific number of hours that a business should work. It depends on the operations of the business. There are businesses that work 24 hours all round the clock.

In my country the businesses are designed to work for eight hours on daily basis for that matter

Businesses should be working for about 10 hours everyday and for 5 days in a week.

I was earlier working for more than 10 hours daily, now there is very less work online, so I work online for fewer hours.
