If the meeting is done via Zoom, there is an app that writes the speech. I don't know what it's called though. Or used the recording option on Zoom. But that will take more time for the minute-taker to process. Listen attentively, write important points using bullet points. Use topic and subtopic.

There is always an assignee to record the minutes of the meeting, plus in the zoom or in GoMeet, there s always a recorder, And if having a meeting face to face, there is always a secretary and each one can write what's discussed.

Minutes is an important document because it recorded the ideas discussed in the meeting and the follow up actions which need to be taken.

That's exactly the job of the secretary. After it's being approved by the chairman, the minutes of the meeting could be posted on the white board.

There is app where you can record and transcribe the voice into a notes. I can't remember the name of the app. With the availability of these apps, life is more easy and affordable.

Recording of meetings does not require any technicality . All you just need to do is be given a guideline then you would write down the proceedings much more easier with no stress.

We have moved past this era of burdensome recording of meetings. Let an app called otter do the recording and just allow it to paraphrase and rewrite everything it recorded as a report. That's the beauty of automation.

As Niyi has rightly said, there are tools even in mobile that would record minutes and rewrite them for you.. Otter is one of those tools. It is available in Android.

I think with the evident of the advance technology many things concerning meetings are changing. Now people don't meet physical in meetings any longer. There are apps that can do to the minutes all references for the last meeting.

In my workplace, it is the secretary records the minutes of the meetings, but individual workers take down the minutes too. It does not require technique. You just write what is spoken by the speaker, the one most important.
